ProMitra works under a dropshipping model, connecting customers with trusted third-party suppliers and manufacturers (“Sellers”). Shipping timelines and handling may therefore vary depending on the Seller’s location and logistics partner.
2. Order Processing
- Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Processing time may be extended during festivals, sales, or unforeseen operational delays.
- Once your order is processed and shipped, you will receive an email/SMS notification with the tracking number and courier details.
3. Shipping Methods and Partners
We partner with reputed courier and logistics companies such as Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, XpressBees, and India Post, depending on the delivery location and Seller.
The mode of shipment (standard or express) is selected based on your delivery pin code and product availability.
4. Estimated Delivery Timelines
- Metro Cities: 3–7 business days
- Non-Metro Cities: 5–10 business days
- Remote/Rural Areas: 7–15 business days
Please note:
- Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather, customs, or other factors beyond our control.
- During high-volume periods (e.g., festive seasons or promotional sales), shipping may take slightly longer.
5. Shipping Charges
- Free Shipping: On orders above ₹[insert threshold amount].
- Standard Shipping Fee: ₹[insert amount] for orders below the free-shipping threshold.
- Additional delivery charges (if any) will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your order.
6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking ID via email or SMS.
You can track your order through:
- The ProMitra website/app, or
- The logistics partner’s official tracking page.
If tracking information isn’t updated immediately, please allow 24–48 hours for the courier to reflect the status.
7. Delayed or Missed Deliveries
While we strive to ensure on-time delivery, delays may occur due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses,
- Unavailability of the recipient at the time of delivery,
- Courier or weather-related issues.
In such cases, the logistics partner will usually attempt 2–3 re-deliveries before the package is returned to the Seller.
If your order is returned due to failed delivery attempts or incorrect address, reshipping charges may apply.
8. International Shipping (if applicable)
At present, ProMitra primarily delivers within India.
If international shipping is introduced in the future, it will be governed by a separate policy and displayed on the Platform at checkout.
9. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Packages
If your package arrives damaged or appears tampered with, please:
- Take clear photos of the parcel and shipping label.
- Contact our support team within 48 hours of delivery.
We will coordinate with the Seller and logistics partner to investigate and resolve the issue.
In case of lost shipments, we will either:
- Issue a full refund, or
- Reship the product at no additional cost, depending on Seller availability.
10. Split Shipments
If you have ordered multiple products, they may arrive in separate packages as they could be shipped by different Sellers. You will receive tracking details for each package individually.
11. Change of Shipping Address
Address changes are only possible before the order is shipped.
Once dispatched, we cannot modify the delivery address.
